5 Things to do in Cancun

This is my personal selection of the best things to do in Cancún. Hoping that you can find some inspiration or ideas for you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

1. Enjoy the best beaches in Cancún

To keep it simple, this are the 2 best public beaches of Cancún. Both of them are equaly beautiful but they have different atmospheres.

• Playa Delfines: Perfect for you if you want a more relaxed beach with no music or noise

• Playa Forum: Perfect for you if you want to hear some partyish music

Both of them are free and offer parking.

2. Have dinner in one of the Hotel Zone restaurants

This is a most do in Cancún, A large number of restaurants made a dinner-show experience that is sincerely fantastic, you can have a delicious meal while watching a great show and most of them have a fantastic lagoon view which is great for watching the sunset. Also most of them keep serving till 2am so if you choose to you can also stay to party.

3. Go to Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is one of the most beautiful Island and beaches of México and is just a short 20 min trip from Cancún. You will find beautiful beaches, good snorkeling and just a nice caribbean vibe.

There are 2 ways to get there:

1. Take the ferry boat from “El Embarcadero” They go every 30 minutes and you have parking there. Bonus tip: With your ferry ticket you can go up the schenic tower for free.
2.  The deluxe option is going on a private yacht. This is in my opinion the best way if you want something more exclusive and if you want to celebrate with you family and friends a special ocassion.

4. Experience Cancun Nightlife

Cancun is well now for its rich and diverse nightlife, you can’t miss out on the best bars and nightclubs this city has to offer

  • Cancún most legendary nightclub, amazing show but can get a bit crowded

  • Love this place, has a great Tulum vibe and good music

  • The best place if you want some latin-music and a lot of dancing

5.Explore the Mayan jungle on ATV’s and Ziplines

Im the kind of person that really enjoys a bit of adrenaline, thats why I always recommend going on a tour that has Zip-Lines, ATV’s and swimming in a Cenote.
